About me

Hi there. My name’s Matt and I’m a Photographer based in Eastbourne in East Sussex. I specialise in events photography but am a fan of all types and genres of photography, particularly landscapes. 

Ever since being given my first camera at the age of 12 I’ve been hooked. Something about being able to freeze a moment in time really captured my imagination and I’ve been taking pictures ever since. 

More than 20 years on that love of being able to capture a moment in time hasn’t left me. Shooting events offers so many opportunities for great images and blending into the crowd allows me to capture images with genuine feeling.

My style is natural and candid as I find this is the best way to capture emotion and feeling in my images

In my downtime I enjoy escaping the hustle and bustle of every day life and getting out into nature with my camera and capturing some landscape images. It’s a refreshing change of pace to slow everything down and take time over a single image.

Photography is an ever changing subject and I’m always looking to improve, pushing myself to learn new skills and techniques that will enable me to capture better and better images.
